SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Detailed design and construction supervision of intake at Lake Victoria with suction line 1000mm diameter, at 270m length and Three (3) suction type – vertical installation surface water pump capacity each capacity 687m3/hr., head 20m
  • Design and construction supervision of Water treatment plant structures with a capacity of capacity of (35,000 m3/day, with fencing facility.
  • Design and supervision of water transmission main with total length of approximately 43 Km and 600 mm dia from Water treatment Plant at Mugango to the Kiabakari water storage tank with a diameter of 600 mm and total length of approximately 3 km. and it’s associated off takes to Mugango tank (Kong hill storage tank) and Kamugegi storage tanks approximately 3.0km and dia 300/200
  • Carry out detailed design and supervision construction of water Storage tanks at Kiabakari hill (3000m3), Kong/Mugango (500m3), and Bumangi (1000m3) and Butiama hill (2500m3) capacity.
  • layout of distribution network with length of 109km (4000mm – 32mm) dia. covering the project area covering 39 villages
  • Carrying ESIA and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) works
  • Checking water quality
