SCOPE OF WORKS

Carrying out Feasibility Study, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and preparation of Tender Documents (TD).

The Study comprises two consecutive phases. The two phases are as follows:

• Phase 1: Feasibility Study  including  Preliminary  Design,  Cost  Estimates,  Preliminary Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (Scoping Exercise) and Development of Preliminary Resettlement Action Plan and Survey of Properties to be affected;
• Phase 2: Detailed Engineering  Design,  including  Detailed  Environmental  and  Social  Impact Assessment,  Development  of  Resettlement  Action  Plan  and  preparation  of  Bidding Documents.

LOCATION

Simiyu & Mwanza Regions, Tanzania.

(This road is located in Simiyu and Mwanza Regions, starting at Bariadi town center in Simiyu and ending at Magu town in Mwanza, where it joins the Mwanza – Musoma trunk road. The route traverses multiple centers, including Bariadi, Ibulyu, Mbiti, Ngulyati, Nyanguge, Kilalo, Kasoli, Salama, Bugatu, Mwandu, Ng’haya, Busaranga, Lumeji, Kitongo, Misungwi, Mahaza, Mwabasabi and Magu Township)
